Help LayerOP identify your game
LayerOP needs to know which game is on screen before it can answer well, and the first time you focus the input it runs identification automatically, but what is visible on screen matters.
Use an identifiable moment. Title screens, menus, and loading screens with the game name work best. A distinctive HUD or map helps too.
Avoid ambiguous frames. Generic menus and similar-looking UIs confuse identification, so LayerOP may pick the wrong game.
Switch games? Hit refresh. Tap the refresh icon on the game badge and wait for Playing [game name] before you ask.
Check the badge before you ask. Wait on Identifying game.... On Couldn't detect game or No game detected, move to a clearer screen and refresh.
Overlay modes
LayerOP has three sizes, and you control how much UI is on screen:
- Minimal: default input bar while you play.
- Active: full panel with your question and answer.
- Passive: logo only. Use the collapse button, or press
Escfrom minimal.
Reposition mode
Hit the move button in the toolbar, drag the overlay anywhere on screen, then press Esc or click outside to exit. While repositioning, the input is disabled because you're moving, not typing.
Ask better questions
Once the badge shows the right game, ask like LayerOP already knows what you're playing. You don't need to say the game name again. Just be clear about what you want.
Good: "Best early build for Hecarim?"
Weak: "what build?"
The more specific your question, the better the answer.
If something looks wrong, refresh identification before asking, because a wrong game context means a wrong answer.
